Naptime Chef Spring Favorites 2012 {Naptime Simple Tips}

During my travels over the past three weeks I’ve been catching up on some of my favorite websites and discovering a few new ones as well. I’ve even (finally!) been able to start some new books, including The Hunger Games and Spoon Fed. Both have been on my list for at least a year and I am excited to be able to crack their spines.  I thought I’d take a break from recipes today and share a few of these new favorites with you. Who knows, maybe you’ll have some unexpected downtime soon too, here are some things you might enjoy!

Aiken Tote

The JMcLaughlin Tote Bag: My must-have preppy bag for spring. (Get it monogrammed to make it extra preppy!)

Bixby & Co.: The most delicious new candy bars I’ve tasted in a long, long time.

The Daily Basics: A cool new-to-me website that keeps me set on all the basics in life.

Ridgley’s Radar: A tastemaker blog from a woman with her finger on the pulse of what’s hot and what’s not.

The Tiger’s Wife: I read this in Thailand and adored every last word. Highly recommend.

The Code: I met Thomas at my Better Connecticut taping and now I am hooked on unlocking the power of my birthday code.

Tomboy Style: Since I am all about tomboy style I can’t say enough about this awesome website and cool new book.

  1. Stephanie says:

    Great round-up of  websites and blogs!  My one thought, though, was . . . if Daily Basics is about the basics, why is the opening page so cluttered?  That being said, I’m lusting after a JM Mclaughlin tote bag!

  2. Thank you Kelsey – I love that you have included me here!  Loving trying out all your recipes!
